Trip to Desaru Malaysia

Our family together with Chuang seniors (yee yee & nai nai) and Chuang juniors (3 shu & family) went for a short get away to Pulai Desaru.... some 3 hours drive from Singapore. Maybe its end of the June holidays and the traffic at Woodlands was not as bad (unlike the last time where I had leg cramps on manual car!)

The rooms are ok, big with lots of space for the kids to run & jump!

We did things like fruit farm tours, goat feeding at Desaru Fruit Farm. We saw many different types of fruits like jumbu, dragonfruit, bread fruit, pineapple, durain and even veg. Ezra was really scared of the goats cos they came too close for comfort!! we stayed there for as long as our nose can take it!! hahaha

At the resort, most times were spent at the indoor playground swimming at the pool, playing at the beach & the kids also went for a ride on "Thomas the Train" ard the resort. It was going so slowly that we can walk along side it!!

I need to share abt our swimming pool experience. There was a very nice slide which adults can try. Jac encouraged Ezra and finally he agreed. Jac promised him that daddy will hold him tight. Indeed Jac held him so tight to his body that when they get into the waters, Ezra just sank to the bottom of the pool with him!! He cried so hard!!

Aft the swim, we decided to eat simple with our cup cup noodles!! Yummy
For most dinners, we drove to another town near the sea & had FRESH & CHEAP seafood. The drive was a new experience for me.... only a short stretch of road had street lamps... other than that its pitch DARK... cant see a single thing... occasionally there will be insect flying towards the screen or you see 2 floating lights coming towards you (cars on the opposit lane). But thank God for His grace & protection!

Anyway back to FOOD, we had fish, prawn, crab, shell fish & even Lobster!! See even the lobster leg also have meat!!

On the last morning, we got up early to catch the sun rise.... Pretty... Jac mgt to snap some very nice sunrise pic...
